The Chef

From Bandung,
by way of Bali.

Born in Bandung, Banda crossed the strait to Bali eight years ago and never looked back. What began as a short sabbatical became a kitchen, then a craft, then a private practice sought out by villa owners and retreat hosts across the island.

Her work is deliberately foreign — French, Italian, Japanese, Levantine — the cuisines she fell in love with in training, now served under tropical skies. The warung is not her canvas. A marble kitchen in Canggu at sunset is.

Every menu is written for one evening. Sourced that morning, plated by her own hand, served to the rhythm of the room. No printed specials, no repeating set.
